Join us to celebrate one of the most beautiful celebrations from India!

Diwali, Deepavali, or Dipavali is a five-day-long festival of lights celebrated across multiple faiths. It originated in the Indian subcontinent. ​

We invite ¹û½´ÊÓƵ students & staff to learn about this celebration, play games, dance, and have fun!

FREE Event

Food, chai, and treats will be provided.

*NOTE: Students/staff from India are welcome to wear traditional clothes.

Schedule:

- 12:00 - 1:00 PM : Intro: what Diwali means? and games, henna, diya painting, bindis

- 1:00 - 1:30 PM: Bhangra Lesson 

-1: 30 - 2: 00 PM: Open mic ( singing, poetry, dancing)
