Coming to Canada?

All new students are asked to inform us of their travel plans prior to travelling to Canada. Instructions on what you need to prepare before departure and how to submit and request a travel support letter is available.

Authorized agents are often the first point of contact between ¹û½´ÊÓƵ and prospective students and their parents. We recognize the importance of our partnerships in the recruitment and application process and are committed to fostering strong, collaborative relationships. Our goal is to support successful learning experiences for students through these valued connections.

A strong partnership is built on mutual trust and understanding. To achieve this, we uphold clear expectations—both for our agents and from our agents—to ensure a shared commitment to excellence.

¹û½´ÊÓƵ works with selected study abroad agencies to promote our international programs for students. If you are interested in developing a cooperative working agreement with International Education, please contact us at intedrecruitment@okanagan.bc.ca for an agent profile form to be reviewed for consideration. We will be in touch with you soon.

We expect our authorized agent partners to uphold the following responsibilities with honesty and efficiency:

  • Promote ¹û½´ÊÓƵ programs and services in a professional and accurate manner, preserving the integrity and reputation of both the college and the Canadian education sector
  • Identify prospective students interested in post-secondary studies in Canada and guide suitable candidates to ¹û½´ÊÓƵ
  • Provide students with current and accurate information about ¹û½´ÊÓƵ and its programs
  • Assist students in completing application forms and submitting required documents
  • Serve as a point of contact for students throughout their studies in Canada
  • Designate an accessible and responsive contact person for ¹û½´ÊÓƵ staff regarding relevant responsibilities and timely correspondence
  • Familiarize themselves with ¹û½´ÊÓƵ policies and procedures related to applications and admissions
  • Conduct all business in a lawful, efficient, and trustworthy manner

Our partners can rely on our commitment to carrying out the following responsibilities with integrity and efficiency:

  • Ensure agent staff receive the latest updates on college programs, policies, and procedures
  • Designate an accessible and responsive contact person for relevant inquiries and timely correspondence
  • Supply agent staff and offices with necessary marketing materials as needed
  • Handle and process agent student applications promptly and professionally
  • Deliver high-quality instruction, services, and support to students referred by agents
  • Process commission payments in a timely manner
