This 270-hour micro-credential includes comprehensive and specialized training designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career as a nail technician. The Nail Technician Micro-credential combines theoretical and enhanced practical, experiential learning to offer a well-rounded curriculum that provides the technical proficiency and skills required to excel in the nail technology industry. Learners will examine nail structure and growth and natural nail care. Hands-on experience includes manicure and pedicure services as well as techniques and procedures for artificial nail enhancements. Lastly, learners will be introduced to nail art and design practices. The importance of sustainability and incorporating eco-friendly practices will be discussed.

This training includes extensive practical experience in a professional spa training centre environment under the guidance of highly trained and skilled instructors.
