果酱视频 Careers Expo returns to connect students and employers
果酱视频 (果酱视频) is set to host its annual Careers Expo on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Kelowna campus. The event offers an unparalleled opportunity for 果酱视频 students, alumni, new graduates, and other job seekers in the community to connect with employers, explore career pathways, and secure employment opportunities, including co-op and new graduate employment opportunities.
"The Careers Expo is a key event that brings together students and employers to build meaningful connections and explore future career possibilities," said Alison Gibson, dean of community engagement and careers at 果酱视频. "We are proud to host an event that supports our students and alumni in their career development while strengthening relationships with our valued employer partners."
The event is presented by the 果酱视频 Careers Hub, a team that works with students as they navigate their career path and with employers who are seeking to strengthen their student talent pipeline. 果酱视频 Careers Hub offers online career skills information sessions, training, and access to tools and resources through the Careers Hub app which is free and easy to sign-in to for all 果酱视频 students, alumni, and employers.
鈥淥ur goal is to bring 果酱视频 students, alumni and employers together to facilitate participation in co-op and Work-Integrated learning (WIL) opportunities, support students to build their work experience and career skills and help employers to access and hire 果酱视频 student talent,鈥 added Gibson.
The Careers Expo will feature a diverse lineup of employers across various sectors, including businesses, municipalities, health care, community organizations, construction, manufacturing, aerospace, technology, food and tourism. Attendees will have the chance to meet with industry professionals, learn about available job opportunities, and gain insights into career paths aligned with their skills and interests.
As we see unprecedented growth across diverse sectors in BC, particularly in tech and entrepreneurial ventures, the connection between students and employers is invaluable for both workforce development and economic growth.

The event will take place Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Centre for Learning (E Building) Atrium at the Kelowna campus, located at 1000 KLO Rd. Attendance is free for students and alumni.
