Program details
This 80-hour micro-credential provides training designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to obtain a higher understanding of management within the beauty and spa industry. Learners explore strategic and operational aspects of spa management, going beyond providing traditional spa services. The importance of effective marketing, retailing and building a portfolio for promotion is examined. Finally, learners are introduced to self-employment considerations for starting micro-businesses using their skills and talents.
The Spa Operations and Management Micro-credential is designed to provide learners with the skills, knowledge, and qualities to be prepared for upward professional employment opportunities in the spa industry.
