果酱视频 formally adopts Okanagan Charter as part of Student Health and Wellness initiative

果酱视频 President Neil Fassina signs the Okanagan Charter

On Oct. 5, 果酱视频 President Neil Fassina officially signed the Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges, signifying the institution鈥檚 continued commitment to health and well-being at its campuses.

Arising out of an international conference in 2015, the Okanagan Charter provides institutions with common language, principles, and a framework to become campuses that promote health and well-being.

鈥淥ne of 果酱视频鈥檚 responsibilities in the Inspire strategic plan involves resiliency, and the importance of our students鈥 health and well-being,鈥 said Fassina. 鈥淭he past two years have taught us how vital physical and mental health is for individuals, not only as learners, but as active contributors to their families, employers and beyond. Health and well-being are directly linked to how 果酱视频 transforms lives and communities.鈥

Inspire includes a holistic wellness strategy in the road map for 2022/23, and this work is being led by the Student Services team at 果酱视频. Learn more about 果酱视频鈥檚 Student Health and Wellness initiative.
